This chandelier with Parabola hanging lamps is manufactured according to the Tiffany technique. However, the glass is heated and bent in the oven. A beautiful flowing shape is created by the bulbs!
Expressionist, curved lines, pointed corners and exuberant, decorative elements: some characteristics of the Amsterdam School style. These unique Tiffany glass caps are inspired by this innovative art movement, which manifested itself between ca. 1910-1940. The Amsterdam School is also seen as the Dutch variant of the Art Deco style. The parabola shape is a common form within the Amsterdam School style and is therefore the starting point for the design. The unusual shape makes the lamp a real eye-catcher with the warm tones of mother-of-pearl, cream and brown (with a touch of deep-purple) as a beautiful combination. Also available as a wall lamp and as a table lamp.
The different heights on which the glass caps are attached make the design playful and stylish. Nice for in halls, staircases etc. Also above the coffee table and dining table!
