This Parabola glass shade is made according to the Tiffany technique. However, the glass is heated and bent in the oven. A beautiful flowing shape has been created!
Expressionist, curved lines, pointed corners and exuberant, decorative elements: some characteristics of the Amsterdam School style. This unique Tiffany glass lampshade is inspired by this innovative art movement, which manifested itself between ca. 1910-1940. The Amsterdam School is also seen as the Dutch variant of the Art Deco style. The parabolic shape is a commonly used shape within the Amsterdam School style and has therefore been taken as the starting point for the design. The unusual shape makes the lamp a real eye-catcher with the warm tones of mother-of-pearl, cream and brown (with a touch of deep purple) as a beautiful combination.
A stylized BRONZE bird looks intently at the budding flower. Birds chirping in nature, who doesn't like that?
The bird in bronze stands perky on the patinated sand-colored background and loves all these flowers.
