Expressionistic, curved lines, sharp angle and exuberant, decorative elements: some features of the Amsterdam School style. This unique Tiffany clock / table lamp is based on this innovative art movement, that manifested itself between approx. 1910-1940. The Amsterdam School is also seen as the Dutch variety of the Art Deco style. The parabola shape is common shape in the Amsterdam School style and that is why it is the starting-point of this design. The uncommon shape turns the clock / lamp into a true eye-catcher with its warm shades of nacre, cream and brown as a lovely combination. Also note the red lines as a beautiful detail.
