This Parabola glass lampshade was made using the Tiffany technique. However, the glass has been heated and curved in the oven. This way, a stunning, flowing shape was created!
Expressionistic, curved lines, sharp angles and exuberant, decorative elements: these are just some features of the Amsterdam School style. The unique Tiffany glass lampshade was based on this innovative art movement that manifested itself between 1910-1940. The Amsterdam School is also seen as the Dutch variety of Art Deco. The parabola is a common shape within the Amsterdam School style and that is why it was chosen to be the focal point of this design. The uncommon shape turns the lamp into a true eye-catcher with warm shades of nacre, cream and brown (with a touch of deep purple) as a charming combination. Also available as a wall lamp, complete hanging lamp and table lamp.
The sleek and sturdy fixture creates a special whole with the lamp. This bronze fixture is square and thus forms a unique combination with the Parabola. The fixture can be placed as an up and down light. Nice for in a hall, a staircase or in a living room.
