7 August 2019 13:00
The summer period: for some, the ideal moment to plan a vacation. The architecture and art styles from all over the world can be a pleasant source of inspiration - certainly in the area of lighting! In the third part of the travel guide, Art Deco Trade takes you to an American state and an Art Nouveau city. Read along and get inspired!

Mackintosh Rose Tiffany PanelGlasgow

As a true Art Nouveau city, Glasgow should not be missing in the travel guide. The famous designer Charles Rennie Mackintosh lived here and that is visible at various locations. His home at the Hunterian Museum is therefore worth a visit. The Mackintosh rose and therefore Glasgow can be found in the Rose Tiffany Panel, with glass in sparkling colors. A piece of Scotland in front of the window, or as a work of art against a wall!

Mill Run

The world famous villa Fallingwater can be found in the American state of Pennsylvania (see Tiffany Angular Pendant Light Fallingwatermain photo). The functionalist built villa with fascinating horizontal lines of concrete is built over a waterfall and is seen as the masterpiece of the American architect Frank Lloyd Wright. In the Fallingwater series, various hanging lamps, floor lamps, table lamps and ceiling lights can be found with warm colored glass pieces in a patchwork motif. More Lloyd Wright? Our range includes lantern models and a special panel with geometrically puzzled glass and exciting, asymmetrical designs.
