The German town of Weimar is beautiful and well worth a visit. There are a number of streets with interesting Art Nouveau buildings mostly designs by Rudolf Zapfe, see photo Hansa Haus. Also worth mentioning is that the great Belgian designer Henri van de Velde left his mark on the famous town. He is the founder of the Kunstgewerbeschule, considered the forerunner of the Bauhaus school.
