The German town of Weimar is beautiful and definitely worth a visit. There are a number of streets with interesting Art Nouveau buildings, mostly designed by Rudolf Zapfe, see photo Hansa Haus. Also worth mentioning is that the great Belgian designer Henri van de Velde left his mark on the famous city. He is the founder of the Kunstgewerbeschule, which is considered the forerunner of the Bauhaus school.
