In 1886, a group of post-impressionist French painters, including Paul Gauguin, settled in the village of Pont Aven. The artists were fascinated by the poetic beauty of Brittany: The special light over the natural landscapes and winding rivers, nature houses accessible via secret footbridges, harbours with Breton sailing ships, colourful flower fields and endless artichoke fields!
With the sturdy Art Deco glass shade Bretagne you are always on holiday and in an artistic atmosphere! The model is made in opal white.
The three glass shades are assembled on Vintage linen cords. The cords are in turn attached to a round ceiling plate.
