The inspiration for this abstract Tiffany lamp was the Dutch art movement DE STYL, founded in 1917. The use of primary colors in combination with black and white was central. A design as simple as possible with mainly horizontal and vertical lines was very important. Later, oblique surfaces were also used. Famous members of this art movement included Theo van Doesburg, Piet Mondriaan and Gerrit Rietveld.
