The calla lily symbolises beauty.... This flower of good fortune comes in many colours: white, yellow, orange, pink, red, lilac, purple and even black. Thanks to its sleek, elegant shape and tropical appearance, the calla lily is known as a truly ‘exotic’ eye-catcher.
The Calla range is in high demand at Art Deco Trade. In response to popular demand, Coloured by Art© has also designed glass chalices that can be combined with the more classic models.
The new asymmetrical Calla light flowers are available in three colours: Red/orange, Yellow/orange and Purple/blue. These colours are perfectly matched to the shades of the Calla ceiling light, Calla wall light and Calla pendant lights.
The designers at Coloured by Art© chose to design a special spotlight because the Calla glass flower is very narrow. The calyx must, as it were, "flow" into the spotlight’s grip cap and fit precisely at the fixture’s connection point. This is how the intended slender effect is achieved. Beautiful! Due to the narrow opening of the Calla calyx, a small "tool" has also been included in the box to secure the glass.
A special textile cord has also been designed for the Calla.
In Art Nouveau (also known as Jugendstil), the calla lily was a popular motif. The elongated flower fits perfectly with this art movement, which is known for its organic, flowing lines. However, thanks to their clean lines and elegance, calla lilies also blend beautifully into a modern interior. The flower lamps are luxurious and, with their minimalist look, form a stunning combination with sleek furniture and industrial elements. It’s also fantastic that there’s a whole range of colours to choose from!
