Tiffany glass shades are often seen with dark fixtures in black or bronze. Beautiful, of course, because it looks classic. The Tiffany shades in various colours are traditionally assembled like a jigsaw puzzle, and a dark bronze fixture looks more antique. Art Deco Trade thinks outside the box with its Coloured by Art© series and dares to make not only the Tiffany glass shades spectacularly different, but also the fixtures.
White fixtures are now also available! A white lamp holder offers a sleek, modern look. Combining a Tiffany glass shade with a soft white fixture creates a RETRO look. Not super modern, but not old-fashioned either.
Flower power was an artistic youth culture in the United States in the late 1960s and early 1970s. The movement really took off when The Beatles identified with it.

The Hippies protested against the war (Vietnam), hunger and poverty in the world and also believed that humans should live in harmony with nature.
Creativity was of paramount importance: flowers in their hair and colourful clothing with lots of stylised growth forms. The same motifs could also be found in interior design.

See the Coloured by Art© collection! Organic elements in the form of glass flowers in pastel shades or bright colours, a beautiful retro style that harks back to a special period in the last century. The lamps are striking, lovely to look at, but also modern in appearance.
