Celeste - sky blue

Sky Blue refers to a collection of shades of blue seen on a bright sunny day. Impressionist artists such as Claude Monet were fascinated by light conditions around 1900 and effectively incorporated Cyan shades into their works. Painters tried to capture perceived colours that change under the influence of a special light. The end result of a work of art does not conform to reality, but mainly reflects the changing object tones.

Art Deco Trade's Coloured by Art© models "Sky Blue" showcase enchanting lamps in which the glass displays various shades of colour. Different shades of Cyan (mixed with white or black), azure and cobalt blue merge with the golden light of sunbeams. The lighting effect of this series is therefore very special. The altered hues give the feeling of ending up in a fantasy world. The illusion of reality can be let go for a moment. Both "on" when it is dark and "off" when daylight plays with the glass, the lamps are highly decorative and give a perfect atmosphere.

The Tiffany series Sky Blue can also be seen as a starry sky. The watercolour-coloured glass in a sultry blue with green and yellow shades give the feeling of dreaming. Exciting are the golden-yellow 'diamonds' elegantly incorporated into the glass like twinkling stars.

With their wispy, dashing lines, these Sky Blue lamps also fit perfectly within the Art Nouveau style.
