Expressionistic, curved lines, pointed corners, and exuberant, decorative elements: some of the hallmarks of the Amsterdam School style. This unique Tiffany glass shade is inspired by this innovative art movement, which emerged between approximately 1910 and 1940. The Amsterdam School is also considered the Dutch variant of the Art Deco style. The parabolic shape is a common form within the Amsterdam School style and was therefore used as the starting point for the design. The unusual shape makes the lamp a true eye-catcher, with the warm tones of mother-of-pearl, cream, and brown (with a hint of deep purple) creating a beautiful combination.
The ceiling fixture has a white patina and a retro look. It has an E-27 socket with a screw thread and ring.
