We are all more happy when the sun is shining! The days are already getting longer and spring is on its way. However, there are still plenty of dark days and the sun sometimes needs a little help. So SHINE A LIGHT!
The SHINE A LIGHT lamp is truly unique. The model stands on a 3-cornered base. This is specially chosen because the table lamp is inspired by the stained-glass windows of the famous LVTETIA (Lutetia) hotel in Paris, built in 1910. 3 windows (panels) are combined into one lamp. Each panel stands on its own, the patterns deliberately do not continue, so that a surprising effect is achieved at the top of the windlight.
Also notice the types of glass. Various transparent glass in different structures has been used. And look especially at the stylised sunflowers in yellow, surrounded by accents in black glass.
SHINE A LIGHT likes to shine next to the bed, on a dresser/cabinet/table or in the window frame.
The lamp is beautiful when the light is not on. Daylight gives a beautiful colour effect to the patterns in the glass. BUT: Then it gets dark, so the lamp is switched on.
